As a young whippersnapper growing up in North Carolina I remember two things from my childhood; setting things on fire and eating BBQ. Since my father told me I was too clumsy to be a fireman, I became BBQ.

Ok, I didnt really become BBQ, because a Boston Butt cant run a website. Well lets just say I really like BBQ, BBQ sauce and everything you can do with it.

It all started with weekend cookouts. My father and his friends would smoke Boston Butts in the back yard for hours, while mom and the other ladies made baked beans and BBQ sauce in the kitchen.

When you grow up with the flavors of summer all around you, BBQ becomes more than just another food. It becomes a part of who you are. Literally, you'll smell of hickory smoke for days.

For me personally, cooking is a passion and I have decided to take that passion and put it in a bottle. This is how Proud Piggy BBQ Sauce was born.
